in which KP knows how to draw one thing and one thing only

And that thing is Suvoi Emana. Surprise.

Modeled using the facial features of Claudia Black.

Elijah, "Doctor" Enoch, Suvoi, and Erik, in their mining jumpsuits.

Honestly that whole storyline was an excuse for me to draw Suvoi in a tank top, not gonna lie.

Well, there might have been character development too. Hard to avoid when you lock your characters in an underground medical facility while subterranean horrors rage through the rest of the complex causing death, terror and power outages. What else is there to do but find out some things about each other?

I mean, who knew Erik could sing? Or be comforting, for that matter?

Will ye go, lassie, go
And we'll all go together
To pluck wild mountain thyme
From among the bloomin' heather

Giddy and I have had some truly spectacular roleplaying sessions with these two. We refer to this one, in which they try to murder each other in a Ratways alley in the rain, as the "Demons incident" after the very apt Imagine Dragons song. (Now, to be fair, he was hired to kill her because she'd become an important leader of the rebellion, and she was just defending herself, but it also ended with both of them losing large amounts of blood and also admitting that they were in love with each other.)

And now, allow me to walk you through the arduous process of using a tablet without a proper painting program, using Suvoi as an example.

Lines done in ArtRage. Nice brush. Pen sensitivity - A+.

Exported and flat-colored in Paint.Net because I didn't know how to do layers in ArtRage.

More layers in Paint.Net. No brushes available. Look at those gross round edges. And how blend?

Cropped, flattened and imported back to ArtRage. Brushes, great, blending knife, awesome, but no layers.

So that took the better part of an afternoon. What I wouldn't give for, say, Photoshop right about now.

*towing van away* "Be careful, that's my... house."
Normal is overrated!
